Jennifer J. Lacey

Ms. Lacey's practice concentrates in the areas of government relations, public policy, strategy development and lobbying.  Ms. Lacey joined the firm after relocating to Nashville from Washington, D.C. where she worked as a health care policy advisor and legislative assistant to U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist/  Prior to working with Senator Frist, Ms. Lacey worked in the U.S. State Department Office of Protocol and handled intelligence, trade, and foreign relations issues for U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski.  In addition to her policy experience, Ms. Lacey has held various positions on state, local and national political campaigns including political director, grassroots coordinator, and advance coordinator.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and was inducted into the Psi Chi National Honor Society.  Ms. Lacey obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2004.

Ms. Lacey serves on the board of directors and development committee for the Adventure Science Center in Nashville.  She chaired the Junior Leagues of Tennessee Advocacy and Public Awareness Committee from 2014-2016, and she is a member and former Advocacy and Public Awareness Committee chairman of the Junior League of Nashville.  She is a member of the University of Tennessee Alumni Board for Davidson County, the Tennessee State Museum Young Professionals Council, the TN Lobbyist Association, the American Enterprise Institute Enterprise Club, and the Nashville, Tennessee and American Bar Associations.  Her most recent publication, "Stick to the Plan: The Vested Property Rights Act of 2014 Creates more Certainty for Developers," was featured on the cover of the TN Bar Journal and awarded the TN Bar Association's 2015 Justice Joe Henry Award for Outstanding Legal Writing.
